pOer's Michael miano helps develop IAAO webInar

Boston, MA – July 9, 2009 --POER Senior Consultant Mike Miano was instrumental in the development of a Webinar hosted by the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO). Miano, who serves on the IAAO’s Associate Member Committee, was also the moderator for the live event, entitled “Foreclosures and Their Impact Upon the Reassessment Process.”

The Webinar brought presenters together from across the nation (Atlanta, GA – Milwaukee, WI – Ann Arbor, MI – and Ridgefield, WA) to discuss the impact of the subprime lending debacle and resulting foreclosure crisis on local tax jurisdictions.

More than a thousand people attended the event on the Internet and the response was very positive. More IAAO Webinars are planned for the future on different topics of interest.
